Launching of Kelab Antidadah IPTS Selangor

The launching of Kelab Antidadah for private universities in Selangor was held on 9th February 2019. This event was an initiative by Campus Lifestyle Section UniKL BMI and Mr Muhammad Irwan Omar was the Program Manager. It was successfully organized by Residential College Committee (RCC) UniKL BMI in collaboration with Agensi Anti Dadah Kebangsaan (AADK Selangor) and Persatuan Mencegah Dadah Malaysia (PEMADAM Selangor).

The ceremony was officiated by YAB Tuan Amirudin Bin Shari, Menteri Besar of Selangor. The event was also attended by the Director General of AADK, YDH CP Dato’ Sri Zulkifli Bin Abdullah, UniKL President/CEO, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, UniKL BMI Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kushsairy Abdul Kadir and the Top Management of UniKL.

Various activities were carried out in conjunction with the program such as “Sembang Santai – Tak Seronok Pun Dadah”, Explorace – Kami Benci Dadah, aerobics as well as sukan rakyat. A total of 531 UniKL BMI students and 81 students from other private universities participated in the program.

It was an honour to be the host of this lively event and it was a good opportunity to create awareness of the perils of drug abuse to university students.
