Introduction

Student Development  Section strives to create a positive university lifestyle among undergraduates. Emphasis is put on cognitive, affective and physical domains of learning. The course contents require students to get actively involved in student activities, hence using their knowledge from the classroom to enhance leadership, communication and entrepreneurial skills.

Supported by a team of qualified and experienced lecturers, the Student Development Section is committed to producing graduates who are equipped not only with technical knowledge but also with relevant soft skills and life-long learning competencies to excel in today’s competitive environment.

Student Development Section of UniKL BMI offers a wide range of Management, English & Communication, Islamic, Mandarin and Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) required courses to all Diploma and Bachelor students.  Our section also manages Co-curriculum courses and club activities.

Co-curriculum subjects usually offered are Siswa-siswi Pertahanan Awam, Sports Management, Community  Service, Career Guidance and Personal Financial Management.  These character building courses are treated with the same importance as other academic courses.

Student participation at all levels is awarded accordingly through assessment marks and a merit system. Here at Student Development Section, knowledge is indeed applied.
