UniKL BMI’s Technopreneurs Development Unit (TDU) continues with its role to develop entrepreneurial skills and aptitude amongst students despite the restriction of COVID-19 pandemic that dominates the academic year 2020. Throughout the year, TDU has collaborated with UniKL TeknoPUTRA Division in conducting various programs focussing on cultivating entrepreneurial interest among students, new and old.

Whilst all the online programs with TeknoPUTRA Division, Technopreneurs Development Unit of UniKL BMI managed to organize one in-house half-day seminar for new students on-campus. The seminar, Al-Ikhsan Inspiration & Motivational Talk, was held on 2nd September 2020. It was jointly organized with UniKL BMI students’ SEA Club and Student Representative Council (SRC).

En. Shahril bin Ahmad, Al-Ikhsan’s Corporate Communication and Social Responsibility Executive, shared the challenges faced and remedial steps taken by Al-Ikhsan in battling the changing business model resulted from COVID-19 pandemic. The event has successfully attracted 312 student participants where 202 of the participants are on-line participants. Dean Kushsairy and his Deputies joint the seminar live at UniKL BMI Seminar Room together with new students staying on-campus.
