ELECTRO SKILLS 2025

ELECTRO SKILLS 2025

In undergraduate education in electrical, electronics, and mechatronic engineering, a critical gap exists between theoretical learning and practical application in Embedded C programming. This gap poses significant challenges to students’ workforce readiness and their ability to contribute meaningfully to industry and research endeavors.

Key challenges include insufficient coverage of Embedded C programming principles within the curriculum and a lack of hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and platforms. While coursework may cover theoretical concepts, students often find it difficult to apply this knowledge to real-world engineering problems without sufficient guidance and practical experience. Consequently, they may struggle to develop efficient and reliable systems, limiting their ability to contribute effectively to projects and research initiatives.

Aligning with Universiti Kuala Lumpur’s specialization as a pioneer in Higher Technical and Vocational Engineering Technology (HTVET), this competition aims to provide participants with exposure to experience with real-life projects and tools. A key highlight of this competition is the involvement of diverse educational tiers, including secondary school students, undergraduates, and professionals.
